Arlington Plaza is a neighborhood shopping center located in Riverside, California. The property was acquired with a vacant anchor space and a vacancy rate of 60%. An extensive 3-year renovation and new construction program was implemented to build a larger pad building and upgrade the shopping center’s façade and landscaping. The renovations attracted new anchor tenants, including a Cardenas Market, an A.J. Wright clothing store and a Rite Aid. Other new tenants included national brands such as Starbucks, Popeyes Chicken, Wonder Bread, and Enterprise Rent-a-Car.
